Domi 4 years , 4.5 million, Bertuzzi 4 years, 5 million
It's this type of attitude that cost us Hyman…..learn from the past. You nickel and dime superstars not solid depth players. You pay SOLID depth players almost whatever they want that way when they outperform you just end up with a long term favourable contract. So that means you do whatever it takes to keep the following: Domi, Bertuzzi, McMann, Jarnkrok, Holmberg, Benoit, McCabe, lybushkin, I dont care about the rest, this is your actual core….
Domi wants to play here because he knows it's the only market that will overpay him. There's a reason he's played for 7 clubs before the age of 30.
Domi at anything more than 5.5×5 would be a joke and an overall detriment to the team. Take. The. Home. Town. Dis. Count.
Max didn’t make 5.5 with the Hans
Domi is worth 2 mil at best a year. He tends to disappear at times and takes seriously bad penalties
Get marner to waive nmc and trade him to salt lake for lawson crouse and sean dursy.

If Domi produces 70 points a year he wd be worth 5 million…he was good on the Habs though..not as much now.
I’ll say it, Domi is overrated, he has one play every once in a while that is great but most of the time he can’t stay on his feet, control the puck or hit the net, even as a grinder he’s still mid (not a Leafs fan btw)
Dont sign Domi and Bertuzzi …use the money to try and sign Stamkos.
Trade Marner, Matthews, Nylander, Reilly they had enough chances to go beyond 2 rounds and get new players
7 mill. And pay Marner 15 ans Matthews 20 and Tavares 14 for failing at the playoffs. Honestly I feel sorry for the leafs. Some team players take paycuts for a chance to win the cup. marner for a ageing super star, such as crosby, get rid of the contract, and get a crosby like player with 3 to 4 years left, marner will get a point a game where ever he goes for a decade. that will help many teams in the regular season.
That's the problem paying those 4 guys over 10 mil, sets the tone and expectations for the rest of the team to not settle on team friendly deals
