As a CBJ fan, honestly, if this actually does come to pass, I'm kinda stoked, given the other names that have leaked/been mentioned, which were almost uniformly disastrous. Again, if it happens, and especially considering the sheer number of supremely talented people who've found success directly after leaving this organization, you'd probably have to say that this would be the best non-roster move the McConnells have made since hiring Tortorella, and that was 8 years ago.

Hockey Worldcup is huge in Europe. Everybody that has a chance should watch the final tomorrow. The atmosphere in the stadium will be crazy. It will be much much louder than any NHL playoff game. The crowd in Europe is way more into it. A win would mean a lot for both team. Lets go 🇨🇭

Waddell could be what the doctor ordered for the Jackets. There's a promising core that could burgeon, but they're still devoid of an identity. I'd like to at least see Pascal Vincent get a proving ground run with a full training camp before they decide to move on from him. He was placed in a poor position by Jarmo and JD following the Babcock debacle. But I'd understand the change

Was very impressed with the Czech effort today. Sweden did not loose up to this point in the tournament and looked like a shoe in for the final. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch the Canada – Switzerland match. I am quite surprised that Switzerland managed to pull it out in the end. Looking forward the final tomorrow! 🧡💛🧡
The fact is, that NHL doesn't have all the best players in the world. Again and again we see year after year that there are many players who can compete against NHL players really well. The difference between NHL player and national team player outside NHL is not as big as you might think when it comes to bigger hockey countries.
Can't belive Genoni never had a Shot in the NHL he's by far our best Goalie and we had like Gerber, Aebischer, Hiller, Berra….Dubas if you see this please get him for Jarry😂

I was thinking the same thing about the tickets… I saw somewhere that ticket for Rangers game over $450… that's ridiculous… ( I understands offer-demand ratio…) People should push for 50% refund if their team loses at home… (maybe if it's 3 and more goal differential)… Just a reminder that fans showed up, but their team did not… 50% 😀

All top4 teams in wc are quite NHL player heavy and its a rare sight in this tournament, ofc not the best from Canada, but rest 3 have almost the best they can get
Plus the thing with having the WHC in Europe makes it very easy for fans to travel to the host country because u just take an hour-four hour train ride. I don't think u even need a passport in Europe as long as u stay on the Mainland (basically anywhere except Iceland UK Ireland and Cyprus)
Waddel has been great in Carolina. You can get only what you are allowed. Absolute booster but will his team make SC finals? No idea. Kotkanimi signin came up dropped a ufo and destroys the player..

I always tend to route for the underdogs( Canucks fan here). Lots of offense with Czechia, however hoping for a Swiss precision "movement ".
If everything was reviewed it would become boring baseball ⚾️
