  1. NY fan here, I spend my life on the internet crying about calls and officiating with full bias.

I am glad our 1st goal was scored because of an illegal high stick by Trocheck on Forsling just before the goal.

If any hit by another player is not an immediate life sentence I'm going to let the internet know my emotions.

  2. He touched the puck, then was hit….seen this a million times and never called…..but I guess from what I saw in this game, the NHL memo was, keep the Rangers in the series, at no matter what the cost….

  3. Man modern hockey fans in these comments would have disintegrated watching 70’s hockey. Constant small spats and scuffs, lots of face shoving and pushing bullying one another trying to get in their heads, players fighting with fans in the stands🤣, tons of nasty hits that would never be called because it use to be a game not for sissies. Back then this type of hit would have been fine, his head was incredibly low to the ice, wasn’t paying attention at all, got hit 0.000034 seconds after losing the puck, clearly it wasn’t intentional. A hit like this would have never ever gotten a team a 5 minute major, let alone even noticing it 😂, and people really wanted a major penalty? What a boring sports it’s become 😂, bunch of softie sissy ranger fans. A hit like this would have made fans excited, now people just cry and whine 🤣. As long as nobody is getting extremely injured who cares, 70’s fans would laugh at this comment section, at how weak hockey fans have become, it’s astonishing. NHL is slowly becoming the NBA and NFL with how baby soft the fanbase is

  4. so many baby fans getting bent out of shape. Imagine these people watching one 70’s hockey game. The amount of face shoving, small constant spats, crazy hits that happened would have shocked pussified modern nhl fans. Nothing that happens nowadays is even worth discussing as “dirty” unless it’s ridiculously series like Matt petgraves. The dude had his head very low, wasn’t paying attention, got hit 0.000034 seconds after the puck left. It’s not that bad of a hit at all this would have been standard practice in the 70’s, now it causes people to whine and cry, the NHL fan base has become as soft as the NFL, NBA, and soccer

  5. Florida getting non-call gifts all series. The refs love sucking on those swampy Florida balls.

This is a #$%ing major for tageting the head on a late hit.

  6. NOT A PENALTY. Player has the puck, lost control, and put himself in a vulnerable position. The hit Was Not late, Was Not targetting the head. He targeted the players chest and the player ducked into tge hit while reaching for the puck. NO PENALTY. Anyone that says it was, is a giant bitch ass.

  7. Rangers fan. I have no problem with the hit so long as the refs make these calls consistently (id have been fine with no penalty call, but the lame rule changes…) Both teams can bring the physicality, and that's what we want to see (minus the homer crybabies on either side). Wennberg needed to wake up bc he's been playing like complete dog💩. Playoff hockey >>> any sport

  8. Wennberg mishandled the puck while Kulikov initiated the hit to which he’d committed. There’s was literally nothing wrong with this hit and when they blew the play dead, I yelled, WHAT?!”

    Rangers fan here btw.

  9. 0:13 Rorigues casually trying to slip the puck in after the whistle and Igor firing it back at him on the half wall

  10. And then the Rangers proceded to get over 50 hits in this game. By the end of the third and overtime Fla was thinking twice about getting to pucks first

  11. Blatantly a head shot. Only body contact is because wennberg sees him at the last second and puts his forearm up to defend himself 😂😂😂

  12. If he wouldn’t have mishandled the puck it would have been a good hit. Wennberg had his head down and that’s why there was contact with the head. A lot of times players get hit after they touch the puck and there’s no call.

  13. Led with body to make direct contact to head upon first impact. Should be a game misconduct and at least a game suspension.

But the NHL won’t make any changes. I mean look at how many careers Tom Wilson ended and he is still playing.

  14. Bull the commentator is a homier the league needs those hits out of the game. Never hit the shoulder but the head . Contact with the body was after.

  15. The ref got the right call, any decent hockey player knows when ur reaching for pucks like that (especially in transition) you’re putting your body in a vulnerable position, kulikov or however you spell it had fantastic form going into that hit… definitely interference tho

  16. Oh but when trouba tried to execute necas nobody bats an eye. Pathetic nhl. You don’t gaf about player safety. ‘Have at it boys.’
