  1. Always remember that these experiences are what we build off of, they are character building moments. There are no real mistakes the first time round only decisions. Have no fear, follow your gut. Fortune favors the bold.

  2. Start Pickard to rest Skinner. Coffey, you need to work with Desharnais on his positional play. He always seems to be on the ice for an opposition goal. Nurse can not worry about where Desharnais is, he needs to know. Other than that, Go Oilers!

  3. Heres an idea….why not throw sand on the ice for 3 full periods instead of just the first 2 ….go All-In with no mistakes…. insert the MOST EXPERIENCED Veterans as per Games played …no favorites…. TRUST the Vets like Papa Clutch….Dallas seems to thrive playing your current style so why not change the flavor?

  4. They’ve been the better team in both games so if they continue to play like this they’ll eventually take the series. They wasn’t going to sweep them so getting that first one is going to play dividends . Henrique should give them a boost hopefully Monday and of course home ice now. Go Oilers you got this 🤜🏻

  5. Playing Micdavid 24 minutes and Draisaitl 23 minutes is just nuts this time of year and that is why between the 2 of them they had 2 shots with Micd having none of those. This coach is running these guys into the ice. Boochard had 27 minutes, who's watching the ice time for all these guys? Stevie Wonder? LOL, good recipe to lose.

  6. Knob, you have to make it a priority to get someone in front of Ottenger and make sure he is blinded on as many shots as possible. Its a war, its a battle, but it has to be done to win. Ottenger is a great goalie, as is bobrovsky, so make it happen, keep somebody right in front of that goalie and get more pucks in the net. Good luck!

  7. Edmonton got lucky against Vancouver. Vancouver was playing a third string goalie and almost beat them. If Vancouver had Demko we would have beaten Edmonton in 4.

  8. Just a bit of appreciation for Knob's leadership and stakeholder engagement/management style. I like that he answers questions practically but also guides the narrative to remain calm, clear headed, sure footed.

Most importantly I think is the way he sets the tone of how players are spoken of and written about. Having your team's back like that is always one of the most effective ways to inspires others to give 110% freely.

He also doesn't scoff at things he doesn't agree with. He acknowledges why those might be things people think of, but he doesn't let speculations and anxieties run rampant. Super important in this high maintenance fan base lol! And he treats the media and us fans like we are all on the team with the players.

The Oilers have had some good coaches, but I don't think many with this particular leadership style. I'm by no means an expert in hockey or NHL though, so I could be wrong. Either way, the team is in good hands!

    Go Oilers!

  9. What has happened to the slap shot from the line ? Is it because they are worried about being without a stick?

  10. I would have been too embarrassed to show my face after that goalie pull. Total minor league move.

  11. Coach the players need to shoot more from the blue line. Just like the Stars scored their goal. How come we dont do that too? The boys need to stop looking for the pretty play all the time. Get pucks on net , score garbage goals!! The refusal to do so might cost us in the end….Yeah, the boys need to shoot from everywhere and SCREEN the goalie! Also, Bouchard needs to shoot more on the PP, AGAIN, looking for pretty plays there too! JUST SHOOT!

  12. If it ain’t broken don’t fix it. Well as you said Knobs messed with our 3rd line he needs to keep it the way it was our first game with Dallas!
