  1. Trade Hronek for the best package they can get, he's not worth the money he wants and wasn't that good the second half of season. Re-sign big Z if they can keep the term around 5 years and the value between 5-6 million. Trade or buyout Mikheyev he will be addition by subtraction as he sucks. Re-sign Joshua for 3 years 3-4 million range. Myers 2 years 2 million. If he wants more let him walk. Lindholm is gone, he will cost too much.

  2. Zadorov, lindholm, blueger, Joshua and Myers will stay, the rest will go, including mikheyev. Allvins one slip up.

  3. Who tf was Shannon listening to? Everyone said the canucks were out in 5 and would be dominated. Without the refs the coilers would have been out in 5

  4. Brand New C.B.A and salary Cap in 2025….Do you really want to be tied down to a lot of long term contracts without knowing what the new Cap and C.B.A looks like?…..just something to consider.

  5. Canucks could have won this series if they could get any traction on the power play. It was a missed opportunity, you never know when they will get back here again. They didn't challenge the Oilers goaltenders, they looked hesitant in the o zone and they threw away too many pucks. The truth is if Hughes misses any time due to injury, the Canucks will drop in the standings.

  6. Solid season all around boys! A year like this can only be built off of. & to Cap the year off..
I Absolutely LOVED Hronek just giving it to Jeff Paterson! What a treat!
Hronek or any player for that matter doesn't owe you media guys dick!
Any $ you guys make off this is because of the players and the skill they bring. Very important to remember that from time to time. This fanbase doesn't need you media guys getting pissy and potentially running players out of town.

  7. Silovs may very well be next season's backup just because of cap issues. The question will be if he'd be better served playing more games in the A.

  8. Shannon – Demko's absence is not the reason why the nucks did not get passed the Oil – come on! Series was lost because of too much no show over the course of the series resulting in lack of scoring.

  9. Demko in net CHANGES COMPLETELY the Vancouver offense; they don't have to play passive, or tenative, or whatever, to protect the kid Silovs. 'Silovs was great, it was the offense that didn't score, so a change of goalie wouldn't have mattered', being suggested all over the place, is a completely falacious argument. The offense alternatively (relatively) explodes knowing they're not worrying about Demko, who, no matter how well Silovs played (with ALL that defensive systems help!), is one of the best G's on THE PLANET. Demko would have meant Canucks forwards (and even D jumping into play) would have been heading UP ICE, not playing the 1-2-2 protection scheme. Vancouver lost their BEST PLAYER after the 2nd game of the playoffs; they still made it to within 2 goals of the West Final. Pretty good. They would be playng Dallas now if Demko hadn't gone out. Cheers!

  10. Why these knuckleheads want Tanev, knowing the history of the Canucks they’ll over pay him and give him long term contract, they game is getting faster
