   Rosén for Jeannot would make a lot more sense. Tampa would prefer an ELC player over the 11th, and Buffalo would prefer the 11th over Rosén because that pick wont need a roster spot for a long time, when Buffalo will be a lot more ready to insert another rookie in the lineup.

   I do enjoy listening to these guys from time to time but it is quite clear they both have taken a few to many hits to the head. Of course we are not moving the 11th pick for anything other than a top 6 forward or to move the Skinner contract.

   Someone might pay that much for him, but he is absolutely not worth a first. He probably gets moved for a third and a late round or future pick.

   Tampa should be paying us to take that, they paid him more than he’s worth and he’s a 4th liner, I’m not giving up much of anything especially to an in division team for tanner jeannot

    Also, the trade Tampa made for Jeannot is the exact evidence that the 11th overall pick won’t move the needle for them. They are in win now mode with an aging roster, they don’t want high picks, they’d want players and there isn’t really anyone we have now who is worth trading for Jeannot.

    11OA is obviously an overpayment but KA absolutely should be targeting guys like this where their team is trying to make cap space. Trade an NHL ready prospect to a team that would benefit from their ELC for somebody proven to play with your remaining NHL ready prospects. So we’re probably shopping atleast one of Rosen/Kulich/Savoie, but not for a goon.
