just assess the way your season played out I think it was good I think it was more more opportunity for me um more playing minutes and stuff and you know it was that’s something that I wanted to com into the team and and you know I was lucky to be able to play a lot of minutes this season and just kind of getting better within the season I think you know by the end I felt really comfortable and I think I played my best hockey the last 20 games of the regular season so that was uh something you know we can build off of going to the next year what aspects of your game did you feel like made it the best that you’ve been playing the last 20 games I think you know just I I started to create way more way more offensively and my face got better within the season so that’s something you know that I always bu my foundation around is first you know the the face offs and and my defensive game was getting better too and then just the offense was coming the production was coming a little bit after so that was U something that you know builds my game the most help wise how was everything for you health was you know it was it was pretty good I think um nothing nothing major there even you even in the playoffs so that was that was good that I could kind of go through through the season in playoffs with you know just minor stuff so that was uh it was good for me just so there was something that was just minor basically yeah it was just just just little things you know um uh in uh in regular season when I missed missed a couple of games and then then in playoffs you know just just a little playoff playoff stuff you know some some hits and bruises but I know that it was it was good overall where do you feel about this team where they are wise and do you think you guys could could use some more help there perhaps you mean in the in the middle like yeah down the middle there I think you know I think the team did did pretty good job I think within the season I think no one expected us to be where where we were and I think you know Charlie Co I think you know geeki in playoffs you know playing Center I think you know they took over the role and I think they did a great job so I think you know it’s always you know nice to get help and stuff you know that’s that’s something that I feel like the the management and stuff is going to look into this this uh offseason but I think they there a lot of good things that we can build off of this offseason to be even better team next year which is really exciting you’re fit with David AO you know you played with him at left wing and at Center um what makes him such a special talent and what do you got to do to to truly maximize his skill as a line when you’re playing middle versus playing Wing yeah I think it’s a little different you know he he played you know with righty Cent with you know correction and abers a little bit so I think that’s something that we kind of talked about start of the season but you know he’s he’s a really easy guy to play with in a way that he talks a lot where he wants me to be what he wants me to do and you know even this year he got really good with you know the managing the plays and you know you know he’s a great goal scorer but the way he was making plays this year and you know had a lot of assists too and just making plays was was great and a lot of fun for me to play and I think he got better with the season 2 when we know where we are and by the end I think it was kind of when you play with someone for a little bit longer almost 2 years now it’s you know you know exactly where they are and and that helps me a lot that he even in between games and practice talks to me exactly what wants me to do and that help that helps you as as a player too what will be the biggest focal point for you this offseason when it comes to just preparing for next year and things you want to you know take a step forward in yeah I think just you know building off of what I kind of finish the season I think you know the face offs you can always always get better at at something that’s you know especially looking at playoff time you know it’s really important if you want to play the big minutes you know 615 516 it’s it’s important and and I think you know just being in you know better shape than I was this year just getting better with that and and um I think I think overall just you know the being being physically ready for next season that kind of gives you the confidence to to make the play after I every year you’re getting more confident with you know this going to be my third year next year to with the Brewing so it’s going to be even better
