  1. While I know the site is real, "They are verified" holds zero weight on Twitter these days, since all you have to do to get a blue check is pay for it. If we're really in on Rychlovsky though, I can dig it.

  2. So he's not the second coming of Connor McDavid! But he's not going to cost the Red Wings a lot to sign him.

  3. No idea why people get excited for these free agents from lower professional leagues.
It's the same story every time, sign a contract, dont perform, go back to Europe.
Anyone remember Mathias brome? That was just a few years ago.

Teams that take a chance on situations like this are typically rebuilding teams with holes in their lineup.

Detroit will be looking at free agents with proven track records, and the graduation of prospects.

Jonatan berggren is no longer waiver exempt and will be on the team. They have marco kasper and carter mazur that will be pushing for a job come camp.

Why bring in this dude when you have guys in the system already pushing for jobs. Guys that would cost less and have higher upside.

Sure Detroit could sign him to play for the griffins but It makes more sense for a team like San Jose to sign him and give him a shot.

  4. Yzerman doesn't like players from Czechia. that's why he traded/terminated contracts with all the players Detroit had from Czechia last season.
