He’s not even fast anymore.
He's not really, really fast. He has some speed, but he's not flying around the rink. Nobody is taking that contract for cheap, so just buy him out instead of giving away picks. The buyout isn't that bad.
Yet they put him on a line with Petey. I really thought we could develope him into more of a scorer. I think he regressed and can't score to save himself.
I thought he was a rookie or something. Didn't know he was a traded player getting paid millions. Enough with this retooling and getting overpriced mediocre ufas already.

So nobody’s taking him since for that contract you can grab some guy out of the AHL or the CHL who will skate faster, cost less, can be coached and is younger.

Rebuilding teams might help out the Canucks with him. Maybe it’ll only cost a 2nd rounder to move him.

Would be cheaper for the Canucks to retain 1.5 million per year of his contract in a trade than buy him out. He's a good fit on a few teams at 3.4 mil.
