Inherited this stick. Looking for more info.

From a cottage up north, no info about previous owner. From what I can tell, Lippmanns was the original stick supplier for the Red Wings in the 50’s. I’ve included close up shots of every potentially helpful bit of info. I want to mount it in my bar, but I’m wondering if anyone can see anything, or knows anything about the brand. The bottom of the stick is worn, but nothing serious. Should I unwrap the tape and see what’s under it? Potentially more identifiers? Any info would be great. LGRW!

Don’t you dare touch that tape! Lol

Cool find, even if it stays a mystery

  3. We have an old timer straight stick from my mother-in-law. It’s beaten to hell and the blade is cracked in half but held together by friction tape. Why am I mentioning this? Well because it’s signed by a bunch of old timer Red Wings. My brother’s in law beat the stick up an played hockey with it rather than saving it as a collector’s item. Right now the stick is in my daughters garage and been unseen for years. Red Kelly and Ted Lindsay are two of the names I remember off hand.

I wish I could rush out to the garage and take a look to see for you but she lives 1200 miles away.
