  1. Most concerning for me is the way they just quit after 20-25 minutes most nights.I thought it would go away for the playoffs, it’s definitely still a problem. Dallas is gonna toy with them if they don’t change their strategy quick.

  2. the most concerning sign is when the most useful thing your dman has done is get on his hands and knees in front of the net and spread it wide like he's in the locker room already celebrating a victory when his team is only 2 goals ahead with 2 periods left to go. on top of that, this man takes a slapshot to the bootyhole like its nothing but can't block anything else to save his life… thats a bad sign.

Oilers management need to bench him, ice that bootyhole, and try to figure out a legal loophole to end his contract.

  3. Connor mcbaby should use the stick to wack pucks in the net instead of wacking opposing players in the face.

And FFS, go to the box when told. That was so embarrassing when he dragged the game out for more than a minute with his whining in game 1

  4. the same problems that the oilers have always had bad goaltending and terrible 3 and 4th lines. Its been like that for a while. Its basically still a 2 man team. If those players dont take over the game oilers are done for.

  5. Edmonton is a top-end heavy team. Unfortunately in playoffs, roster depth is what matters more.

Edmonton's depth is simply not on the same level as Dallas'. Benn, Johnston, Stankoven are all legit top 6 players playing on the 3rd line. Foegele, Henrique and Brown just aren't on the same level. I'd rather have Lindell, Tanev & Suter than Nurse, Desharnais & Kulak as well.

  6. yes it wasn't a good final 40, but its a 2-1 series, its not 3-0 lets all calm down. we have shown we can play with Dallas, and dominate them at that.
lets find a happy middle ground in how we compete and we will be fine!
    LETS GO OILERS!!

  7. If the Oilers drop the series to the stars, they are not a bad team, the question is what do they need to do to get over this hurdle to get to the cup. Stars been losing in the playoffs for a few years themselves and florida is possibly going to lose to the rangers after being in the cup last year, doesn't make them bad and bad teams don't repeatedly get deep in the playoffs.

  8. Oilers fan since I was a kid. I don't think they deserve the Stanley Cup after this poor performance. I say Dallas should just mop up and prep for the finals.

  9. same concern as the last 7 years, goaltending. coulda spent the money to get fluery a few years back but we got smith instead, now we have skinner who says he has anxiety. awe honey 5 million a year didnt cure your confidence issue? oilers need to buy a goalie not train one not hope on an old head whos never succeeded cough smith cough

  10. Scoring where the Mcdavid dekes and dangles just put him on 4 th line every 5th shift so he can puck hog for a bit

  11. McDavid and Draisaitl are getting more and more tired with the 20+ min/game Knaublach is making them play. Those minutes only go up when the Oilers are trailing in a game or in the series.
