People will certainly have opinions about this that are founded, but it looks like Dan went back to the grindstone to really hone his coaching. I think people are right, and if this stint is another dud, he’s probably done as an NHL coach. That said, I’m reasonably optimistic. I hope he does well. Despite his failings in the playoffs, his regular season numbers were fantastic for Pittsburgh.
