Some copium from Rust but hey I love to hear it. Would we have beaten them in a 7 game series? Probably not. Would we have at least won 1-2 games? Definitely. There's no way guys like Crosby/Malkin come out of that series with 0 points a piece.

I think part of this Rust mentality is stemming from the 2021-2022 playoffs. NYR had NO business winning that series. Pitt outplayed them consistently and lost in 7. It made no sense. Having said that, Pitt's PP would have killed them and don't think they would have won in a 7 game series this season. But i like the attitude.
I loved the rust interview
I love acciari and eller, they both perform their roles very well. But they have some value and trading them both does free up 4.5 mil, not insignificant
I could see Kyle Dubas going all sketchy and stick a first line left winger beside Sid for the league minimum, or close to it.

I have a particular player in mind and so does Dubas, and if this player is not qualified and thus becomes a UFA July 1stâŠ.I can see Dubas STRIKEâŠthen sink back into the night!

I'm not sure pens beat the rags. But as a New Yorker, I can tell you that my friends who are rags fans did not want to play the pens in the first round. They were super happy to get the craps.

Nieto stays on LTIR all year, right? I do think they move smith but will they move acciari? Do they tender POJ? No way someone takes on graves contract unless its a team like Utah who currently has no defensemen on their NHL roster.
