  1. Broberg Mobility and calmness in the situation he was in, was impressive and unexpected. Might have a player there.

  2. I’m at my house, 2-0, I leave they win, I watched Monday and Saturday too and they lost but not game 1 whyyyy

  3. Long post follows. Read / Don't Read up to you. Statistics for Round 3 Playoff Game 4 Dallas at Edmonton May 29th, 2025. These are "Base" statistics and are simply a foundation for reference.

    Edmonton Oilers

    Hyman 1 Goal

McDavid 1 Goal, 1 Primary Assist

    Henrique 1 Goal

    Dallas Stars

    Lindell 1 Goal

Benn 1 Primary Assist, 1 Secondary Assist

    Harley 1 Secondary Assist

Just a few notes: Heiskanen played 27:33 (over 3 minutes more than the top Edmonton D Ekholm), Lindell played 23:43. The most a Forward played is Johnson at 19:02 followed by Duchene at 17:47. Other than a bit of abusing a few D Dallas was rotating their lines quite well.

First lets start off with the obvious. For 2 games IN A ROW, Stuart Skinner has let in the first shot for the first goal. In this game he let in another of the next 3 shots. Dallas had a 2 nothing lead with the shot clock saying 4 – 1. Someone needs to give Stu REALLY REALLY GOOD smelling salts to wake him up before he goes out. It takes a lot of offense to overcome a 2 goal deficit especially against a good team. That was the bad news. Now for the good. After 5:29 in the first period Dallas didn't score. It's like Stuart and the team drew a line in the sand and said NO MO FROM HERE. The changes coach Knoblauch made impacted the game. McLeod got his first goal. Perry got an assist. Janmark got a depth goal that was a shortie on a Dallas PP (assisted by Brown). Yes, we had the usual suspects chiming in (Bouch and Leon with goals assisted by McDavid, Nuge, and Hyman) plus the empty netter by Ekholm but we got DEPTH scoring and a Shortie. I wonder if the people who mark goals had to look up Janmark's name to make sure he was on the Oilers it's been so long. Nurse got a secondary assist on the McLeod goal too and registered 12 Hits, TWELVE HITS by himself which is over HALF of Dallas's total.

The Oilers, as a team, had over double the hits of Dallas. The Stars must be pretty "Tenderized" by now. Tanev had to leave the game for the Stars and only played a total of 8:37. Dallas didn't do well in the faceoff dot. Oh the Oilers only had 3 more wins there but if you look at the player by player there aren't a lot of bright spots for the Stars.

Oilers blocked a few more shots, gave away 2 more pucks, Took away 1 less puck, took 1 more penalty (all of the penalties both sides were killed so PK units still running 100%) and they shot 7 more shots that made it to Oettinger.

What I like is the Time on Ice minutes. No Oilers Forward played even 20 minutes so they were rotating the lines quite well too.

For a game that started so wrong the Oilers make it so right and we go into Dallas tied at 2 games each. Take care all.
