Jake Neighbours gave Roman Josi a little help into the boards creating a pretty violent impact. There was no call on the play. What do you think? Have your say!
though i think it was kinda dirty, i don’t believe josi did himself any favours, and i do think he likely would have fallen on his own. i don’t think this require supplemental discipline, i think a penalty would suffice if there was no injury.
Imo I think the boarding punishes a good defensive play. Josi has to go for the puck on the dump-in, Idk what he could have done differently to avoid the hit without letting St. Louis just gain possession
Boarding: causing a player to be thrown into the boards violently…Too light of a cross check, not so concrete for check from behind call, but the sum of all illegalities, the player was vulnerable and was put into the boards.

How in god’s name does that ref see the cross check in a dangerous place and ignore it?! Crazy!
