Will the Panthers end the Rangers’ 2023-24 NHL season with a win in Game 6 in Sunrise on Saturday and advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the 2nd year in a row?

Now we're seeing the Rangers for who they are. Cupless Wonders. They melted down like Vanilla ice. Igor is the only reason the Cats haven't swept the series already.

No Panarin, no Zibanejad. Again. Like last year. I just feel sorry for guys like Shesterkin, Lafreniere, Goodrow and Trochek who actually show up. They are going to destroy us in Game 6. Florida will win the cup and deserve it.

New York looked pretty good for 2 of those periods. When the third came around it seemed to snap back to the usual though. Florida outworking and outplaying them while Shesterkin did his best to carry the team on his back.
My opinion, the Rangers spend too much time passing the puck around when in the Florida zone. Eventually one of the passes gets intercepted and Florida goes the other way. This may have worked for them in the regular season, but it's not working against the Panthers. They should take any reasonable shot that becomes available, and hope that it either goes in, or someone scores on the rebound.

Rangers had tons of turnovers in their own zone in 2nd and 3rd. Florida has been the better teams and will go into the Stanley cup final as favourites I think.

i'm not overly attached to either team, though i'd like to see quick get another cup. i just want whoever wins this series to shred edmonton, if edmonton manages to slip past dallas

Rangers have to clean out a big part of the team in the off-season. Trouba, Wennberg, Wheeler, Gustaffson, Roslovic, Kakko, Ruhwedel, and yes, Zibanejad (buy out his contract, he just stinks in the playoffs), should all be gone. Incorporate Jones, Rempe, Edstrom, Brodzinksi, and Othmann more into the lineup, while also having the available cap space to get a free agent or two. This team needs smart players with speed and strength. Otherwise, it will be the same ol same ol for many years to come.

Great game by the Cats tonight. The experience from last year shows through on not panicking after giving up the shorthanded goal. It really feels like they've been controlling the series.

It’s kinda sad to see how the rangers fans were so defeated after they went down 2-1, it just doesn’t make sense to me. They have the most comeback wins and it’s a one goal game with plenty of time left, why act like it’s all over?
My ideal final is Rangers v Oilers so… Yah, not stoked about this win!

This conference final is the best in a long while.
So I wanted to share something I wrote almost by accident about a certain fanbase…. it was almost like therapy to get it into words and off my chest. Barely knew I was doing it in fact.
But I'm very frustrated with my fanbase, WAY WAY MORE than any issues with the team tbh.
If you read and have similar stories whichever hockey club you're a fan of go ahead and share please. I can't believe this isnt the worst in all the NHL and it has hit new lows this year it feels like.
Its so ridiculous to try and read or listen to anything right now, as a Rangers fan (and maybe for you too): I go to Athletic and check the discussion comments, its practically 8chan or something – everyone just spewing junk against the other team, fans of eliminated teams rising from the dead to cackle and haunt Rangers, non serious garbage attempted zings and burns every 50th reply with maybe a sentence worth of actual brain power being used.
Then you can listen to low information drivel from WFAN or Boomer & Gio etc. with "analysis" and "takes" equal or less than what you'd get from the guy driving your Yellow cab after the game.
Or try the billion different fan channels on YouTube where you hop in the live chat and the users and hosts rant incessantly about how awful the Rangers are and how useless every player is if they didn't make the stat sheet on the last 2 games. This has to be the worst. I am more depressed and disillusioned with the Ranger fanbase than the team itself by miles. These guys are practically nihilistic. Up 2-1 they dragged us WORSE than now! Same thing every time: Trouba is awful, must bench him, Zib, Bread. Put Jones in scratch Gus. Trade Kakko ASAP. Fox sucks is he injured, Roslovic sucks (ok, well…) Wennberg sucks. Rempe needs more ice time he looks good out there. Shesty missed one (they want more from a 30+ save .940 performance LMAO!) Much more and all of it TOTAL unbearable negativity.
I just wonder how it has been with your crowd: I know they are furious with Tank, Ekblad and maybe Cousins seem to get dragged too. But I just can't imagine a fanbase being as ruthless as this; they have a one period long memory, NEVER saw a LINE OR D PAIR that DIDN'T NEED to be BROKEN UP

Barely anyone talks about the GAME that just happened and instead ALL THIS NONSENSE. We are not in a video game menu, this isn't Franchise mode. Most adjustments they scream for most likely would DROP US LIKE A ROCK LOL. I know this because I have seen the pressure of NY sports fans and the "results" when the organization and coach give way to it. Odds favor outcomes from 'disaster' to 'dumpster fire'.
But, Schneider and Miller returned to a pair this game, as the all knowing Ranger public begged for, and look! We were BETTER. The fans KNOW, ALWAYS, it is prophecy! Ignoring that Gus had 20+ minutes and other pairs like Lindgren and Miller were out at times, thousands of other details that impacted overall performance. What do I know I just go over the game that was just played.
Hope your squad ISN'T that way, honestly. I just wanted to scream HAPPY NOW! YOU WERE RIGHT! afterwards when I started listening and reading. Funny enough a lot more soft voices and quiet seem to be setting in. Jesus, its awful and im sorry for this rant about it.

Well Dallas is screwed. Edmonton is winning tomorrow, well today at this point. Igor is making this very difficult. Forsling for Conn Smythe. Stat sheets don't do him justice. Igor has out played Bob in this series. Rangers just don't have it. They need bounces and breakaways to do any damage. Or wait for the Panthers to do something stupid. I am still expecting this to go to 7, but I would much prefer to get game 6 win and be done with it. I will save my lucky charm for game 7 if needed. Panthers are on their own for game 6. Also, we have the same Panthers Jersey. Then again, THG has every jersey so, yeah it was bound to happen.

What a goaliefest this series has been. Igor is carrying the Rangers on his back, and Bob just gets better with age.
It was alittle elbow but nothing that was a foresure penalty. Especially in that moment. Negating that 5v3 was the turning point.
