NHL Warmup: Buffalo Sabres Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen & Eric Comrie

what’s going on everyone my name is Chris dudo and I’m the goalie gear snob and today we’re going to be watching another NHL warm-up featuring the Buffalo Sabers so for those of you that may or may not know I’m the Dallas Stars emergency backup golender and for the games I’m required to be at I’d like to be there early and watch the away teams and tell you what gear they’re wearing so today we’re going to be seeing uko peka Lucan in and Eric com uh Lucan has a very interesting gear story where he kind of started off his kind of like pro career a lot of his IIHF career with CCM everything uh and then switching over to a bower glove and blocker set and then it looks like now he has switched over to the bower pads as well he’s been them for a few seasons but when I first heard his name I was picturing him in All CCM so that’s cool seeing this set here he is using a digitally printed 195 graphic across the entire set and he is using ultrasonic leg pads with a bower 2s Pro glove and blocker the leg pads are in size X L the pants that he’s wearing is the CCM 14a NHL spec version looks like he is in a CCM Pro chest as well and the sticks I can’t 100% tell if they’re the mock or the ultrasonic uh because the uh cutout on the back of the paddle kind of denote that but he has a lot of tape coming up across the blade so I can’t 100% tell where that cutout stops or starts so they are wrapped in a mock graphic but it’s very possible it is the ultrasonic core he is also using a bow profile mask and true two-piece skates with the bow vertex Edge holder switching over to Eric comry he is using a hazardous PX4 Set uh at least the uh uh the full set uh here uh he has a few different kind of specs on it so it’s not like a stock PX4 set but he is using the uh thick mid stiff thigh option which is essentially what was stock on the L 20.2 kind of like that thicker thigh option then he’s using a 595 blocker with a 600 brick glove he’s also using Von velocity NHL spec pants with a double thigh flap and I believe a keski pro chest protector as at least that’s what he finished up the season in last year not sure if he’s still in it this year it kind of looks like a CCM Pro but uh I think it actually still might be the keski chest and then he’s using some Hyperlite 2 wrapped sticks I can’t 100% tell the core of those sticks just at the visual look but he’s also using a Pros Choice helmet and a true two-piece skate with the stock shift holder not the bower vertex Edge that a lot of guys prefer but I thought their gear looked pretty good here I thought it looked pretty solid here um I was really a fan of their performance and I was really liking how Lucan and played during the game I thought it was pretty solid so uh I hope you guys can now enjoy this warm-up video of the Buffalo Sabers and enjoy ukap peka luukinen and Eric Comer [Music] [Applause] a [Music] [Music] n [Music] n [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh oh [Music] n [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] thanks for watching this video I’d really appreciate it if you like commented And subscribe and also rang that cute little liberty bell for some notifications about what I upload to my Channel please check me out at some of my other social Outlets are going to be linked down below

Check out this in depth look of Cale Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen & Eric Comrie warming up against the Dallas Stars on 4/9/24. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was a CCM guy but since joining the NHL he has been a huge Bauer guy. e is rocking Ultrasonic Pads with 2S Pro Gloves with a fantastic Supreme One95 DigiPrint. He is rocking a sweet pair of CCM 14A NHL Spec pants with a CCM Pro Chest. He is using Bauer Mach wrapped Sticks, but they might be Ultrasonic’s. Also, a Bauer Profile Helmet, and finally True 2 piece skates with a Bauer Vertexx Edge Holder.

Eric Comrie is a big Lefevre user and he is rocking a gorgeous True HZRDUS PX4 pads with the Thick Mid Stiff thigh option. He is also in a 595 blocker with a 600 break glove. He is in custom Vaughn Velocity NHL Spec pants with the double thigh flap a Kenesky Pro chest. He is using Bauer Hyperlite2 wrapped sticks, a Pro’s Choice Helmet, and finally True 2 piece skates with the stock Shift holder.
