  1. The issue with his contract will be term and you really don’t want an inconsistent winger on a long term deal, it makes them pretty difficult to move at times, rakell for example, I wouldn’t hate having debrusk but I’d rather have tarasenko

  2. I vote no, I like DOC and his game/potential over debrusk and his salary. Use the money to beef up the middle six.

  3. Debrusk is going to ask for a big contract. Do the Pens want to commit to another Rust/Rackell type of contract?

  4. Sign Chandler Stevenson, and maybe a bottom pairing defensive man. Trade R. Smith for picks and move Graves to Utah ( they are going to be significantly under the cap)and trade whatever for Brady Kachuck (lol).

  5. when do the parameters for offer sheets change? a 1st and a 3rd for an offer sheet of $4.58M? a 1st, 2nd and 3rd for an offer sheet of $6.87M? thats robust. No wonder offer sheets are rare.

  6. if the # is $6M/yr, I would prefer the pens pass. What about offering to trade with colorado for Mittelstadt? 57 points, 0.71 points per game. Mantha? 44 points, 0.59 per game or Duclair? 42 points, 0.58 points per game.
