Murray could be a good third stringer, although I’d prefer Jones in that role at this point if I’m being honest, so we’ll see what happens there. I don’t love the idea of Klingberg but I’m not as opposed to his return as others seem to be if it’s truly on a *cheap* and short contract. He could be a decent 2–3RHD if he gets rolling again like he has been able to in the past/his career. Murray at 950K x 1yr and Klingberg at 1.95m x 1yr could be some solid pickups for depth purposes, but I’m not paying more than 2m for Klingberg and I would assume he asks for more than that so he’s likely gone¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Murray and Hildeby as a tandem in the AHL would be solid. You wouldn’t need to worry about losing either on waivers to start the year, and maybe they can push each other to be better so when one of the NHL goalies gets injured you have a choice to make in which one you bring up.

Murray is made of glass, but not strong tempered glass he’s like the breakaway glass in a car window. He’s good until he shatters, then you need a replacement. When you know that outright it’s risky unless league minimum. I also don’t want the second goalie to get a step on Woll. Yes you challenge him with a Brossoit but generally it’s his crease if he’s healthy
