WTF? I thought the NHL was coming down on boarding? Gonna stop dangerous hits/shoves/and so on? This was a text book stupid, dangerous, totally avoidable boarding penalty. Major/game misconduct should have been the call. Until the NHL starts putting players in the locker room early for this crap its not going to stop.
Looked more like a toe pick or loss of balance but definitely had help from Backlands crosscheck, should probably be no more than one game it didn't seem like he tried to do it but even accidents have to have consequences
