In this video I discuss which Bruins Free Agents I’d like to see re-signed and build out the roster accordingly. Tough choices to make this off-season by Don Sweeney and I have no real idea what the Bruins will do, but I at least wanted to talk about which players Id like to see return!

I feel like I’m going crazy. JD is not close to 6 million. The guy should not be making perennial 30 goal scorer money. Don’t let the recency bias fool you, the guy should be making 4.5-5.5 mil if he wants to be here
Hopefully Sweeney doesn’t make the same mistakes as last year
I think the Bruins should resign Maroon you have to remember he wasn't 100% last year after back surgery so we didn't really get his full potenial, Debrusk needs to go guy way to inconsistent he great at times but awful at times and when he bad he really bad so I say it time the team finally gets rid of him.
As for free agents I would love Sam Reinhart and Jonathan Marchessault those two together will make the Bruins an unstoppable force and i think the Bruins might have enough cap space too get both of them and Elias Linholm too we get all 3 of them by trading Ullmark away were wiining the cup next year no doubt about it and last I do not want Tyler Bertuzzi back he an idiot and isn't the most skilled player either plus he was an annoyance in the first round this year Anthony Duclair okay but he not excatly the type of player that can really change a team doesn't help he keeps getting traded to a different team every year so he also a no for Boston as well.

Interesting takes on free agency thus far, always appreciate ur take
IMHO: Sway is a no brainer however I’d love to see the Ullmark tandem continue, keeps the hotter goalie fresh come playoff time.
JD: off him, just didn’t perform enough when it mattered most, never took that next step we needed, if he takes a discount at 4-5 range, he’d be worth it
Maroon: great character but agree: too slow
JVR: worth 1-2 mill
Boqvist and Heinen I like in the bottom six which should be <2
I’d love to see Sweeney sign Marschessault (4-6 mill?), great character and still scoring touch
Stammer/Reinhart would be ideal but too expensive
Bottom line: tending/D were solid, def need to add scorers
Players I’d like to see coming back next season-
Grzelcyk, DeBrusk, Ullmark, Swayman,
I’d be fine with a 6.5-7M/6Y deal for Deebs. Griz- 5M/3Y. Sway/Ullmark- 9/8. (4.5 each). I believe that’s inside the box.
“What about the other spots?” Like it’s been happening for years now. Juggling.
Obviously the prices of players will be different, but. I don’t want to lose those 4 mainly. Love to see JvR and Heinen come back as well, with Boqvist. Maroon, Shattenkirk and Forbort are great players, but. Can’t see them staying, even if they all played Bruins hockey. Especially JvR and Maroon during PlayOffs.
We are NOT going for Reinhart. I like Marchessault but he stays a Knight imo. Also not lowering team IQ by bringing the other mongoloid in. Though I liked Bert when he was with Pasta.
I don’t know why everyone hates on Grizz and Deebs. Granted I initially didn’t like him when he requested his trade, but. Quickly came back to loving him. He’s streaky, sure…however name a Bruin goal scorer who ISNT. Pasta. We are not getting rid of him, yet he didn’t show up come Playoff time. DEBRUSK AND MARCHAND DID.
People who hate on Deebs, hated on Krejci too. “Doesn’t show up” yet; he’s vital to team success.
Heinen and DeBrusk!!! For the right money. Yep.
No one coming up through Providence? Regula was one of the best dmen of the year last year in the AHL and they have a couple of other guys too. Shattenkirk to me makes no sense. Lohrei is your offensive look dman of the future and frankly the future is now. Let that kid have his reps.
Bring back DeBrusk and sign a first-string centre who can win a faceoff and score.
Debrusk will get a better offer from another team. 19 goals and 25 assists, he’s not worth $6:2 million. Would love Sam Reinhardt and a 1 Center.
Debrusk is gone, forbert is gone , griz is gone. If we can trade them, do it. Ullmark to utah for chychrun and a pic. I bet he waves the nmc because utah is gonna be a good team. The owner will spend. Heinen and maroon stay. Give swayman whatever he wants. Shattenkirk, see ya later. If we can trade debrusk,ullmark,and griz for draisatl , then give thst a go. And grabbing chsndler stephenson from vegas is key until we can hopefully get drais in free agency
