As the salaries have grown a clear competitive advantage is now apparent for the states with no income tax. Texas , Florida , Nevada. They all get players at 2-3 million dollar discounts at the high end over other teams and it shows in their results. 5 years straight a team from Florida wins the east. In the west Dallas and Vegas accounted for 3 of the last 6 finalists and could be 4 if Dallas wins.
