  1. The question from Mathias Brunet was a simple question like they do in every episodes. It's just to discuss the values of things. Nothing was serious and it was discuss in 30 seconds because the answer from Simon Boisvert was no, Habs should not accept that trade.

  2. Montreal is just as hard to play in media wise. It's just a lot of it is French so it doesn't get out as much. He would struggle here also once we're a playoff team. And I think KH is trying to avoid those players

  3. No !!!! Marner is soft and not a playoff player. He is scared to go in the corner.
I will not even give 7th round draft. Yes 7th round.

  4. Totally ridiculous, why would a rebuilding team trade a very good pick for a 10.9 million player who will be a free agent in year ??? A GM could lose his job with a trade like that !!!

  5. Huge NO on that. Not no to Marner…he's actually the Leafs' MVP. But no to his value at the contract structure he was given and is now expecting to continue. We don't need to take on the brutal consequences of the Leafs' mistakes.

  6. I hear everyone saying it's a dumb idea from the Habs standpoint. It's an even dumber idea for the Leafs. Leafs need an impact D-man or top 10 goalie who can help now, not a prospect to come along in 2 years…maybe if all goes well. Marner is well suited to a team who needs his playmaking/scoring and already has the grinders who will go through walls so he doesn't have to. A team that needs to put fans in the stands because he is mister entertainment with the puck. I'm thinking that new Mormon team. They would love him and forgive him his trespasses. BTW what a great name for that team : The Mormons. (No offence meant to my Mormon friends…I just can't spell Utaw)

  7. I don't want him on the Habs.
Keep him away from our locker room!
    He might ruin the culture.

  8. Stop posting about really stupid trades being mentioned. Marner isn’t worth anything close to that. Toronto will retain to move him and get a return. I wouldn’t take Marner at zero cost at that AAV and I wouldn’t want him on our team period

  9. Habs need checkers they have enough goal scorers not everyone can stand around waiting for the puck someone has to go get it and set them up

  10. I have to say no on that, besides, Marner has a NMC and i can guarantee you the habs are on top of the list of teams he won"t go to.

  11. bahahahahaha that aint happening Habs arent interested in a playoff underachiever. Who cries cause and throws his gloves cause he sucks in the playoffs.

  12. Marner also made the turnover in game 7 that Led to the 1 – 0 goal. The goal was soft by Campbell but wouldn't have happened if Marner doesn't lose the puck to Montreal in the neutral zone.

  13. If they take gallagher anderson dvorak and we retain 50% of his salary and the winnipeg pick with kovacevic its a deal to me

  14. Forget this trade, Marner is a great player but a bit selfish and this would not fit well with St-Louis’s theory of game responsabilities!

  15. It ain't happening, we don't need a virus in our rebuild process, especially at 10. 8 million it will derail our goal and set us back.
