The Rangers simply ran out of gas. Florida's defense was suffocating, and the Rangers' could not quite find its footing. But putting the season and post-season together, I would argue that it was a very good, memorable ride, and for that, a thank you is definitely in order.

1994 Rangers were the remnants of the 80’s Oilers (minus Gretzky) who won what 5 cups in the 80’s? 2024 team did not have the foundation of a dynasty winning team like 94’ team did.

as an Islander fan I always admired all the goalies the rangers had through the years, some of the best. They missed the boat with Henri L., they will miss it with Igor. Some of your so called stars are getting old, slow and fail to show up when it counts..Say what you want about the Islanders and their failures of late, but when given the chance Bossy, Smith, Potvin, Trottier all showed up, you guys did not.
