  1. Superstition aside I can see it being simply that it was a big deal for FLA to win the Wales last year and this year not so much. Only the Cup itself warrants that reception on a repeated basis.

  2. I would’ve cheered for the Oilers but this year they’ve had an easy playoffs, Kings and Canucks, whilst Dallas had to defeat the 2023 cup winners and the 2022 cup winners. Oilers are having it easy.

  3. I don’t care how much game Florida has, if they’re playing the Oilers I guarantee McDavid will NOT be stopped.

  4. Normally i think basically what Sakic said in 22, who cares? Touch the f in thing, enjoy it. But considering they touched it last year and we saw how that worked out i dont blame them at all this year

  5. Edmonton simply has to close the series tonight because Dallas is probably going to win game seven, considering how perfect DeBoer's record is in those situations. All the while, Florida will obtain more rest days if this series goes any longer.

  6. I think I’m any other situation Bouchard could easily win the conn smyth with the performance he’s put up in these playoffs. It’s just that there are the 2 most obvious picks in the world that happen to also be on his team

  7. If the Stars make it to the final, can you do a video on every time a city's NBA and NHL made it to the finals in the same year and compare the results?

  8. Last VGK did not touch the Trophy, the Panthers did. This year the Panthers didn’t touch. Now we wait for the results.

  9. Sergei Bobrovsky becomes the first goalie in NHL history to win three clinchers against regular season winners for multiple teams (CBJ once, FLA twice). Turk Broda (TOR) and Glenn Hall (CHI) did that with a single team. No one else has done it more than twice

  10. Pens won the cup when they touched the wales trophy. They lost when they didn’t touch it. Superstitions are fun.

  11. As an active NHL hockey player, the only trophy you do not touch is the Stanley Cup until you've won one.
However, in this case, for this team, switching it up can't hurt.

  12. Edmonton has a chance to do what St. Louis Blues did in 2019 to go to the Stanley Cup Final after having a bad start to the season and a coaching change.

  13. Florida players didn't just avoid touching the Prince of Wales Trophy, they took spacing precautions against being accidentally bumped into it. They next step of avoidance is lowering a cage over a conference trophy.

  14. What happens if Florida loses the Stanley cup? What happens next year if they win the conference again? Do they touch it or not?
