El Jefe!
Jeff Carter, what a big acquisition he was that year. I believe he was also credited with the game-winning goal in Game 6 to win the cup.
That 2012 series was so much closer than it seemed at the time. Games 1 & 2 were won in OT, Game 3 had a lopsided final score but it was still a close game. Game 4 if a few bounces go our way we could have swept the series, but that didn’t happen. Game 5 was a one goal game. Game 6 who knows what happens if the Bernier major didn’t happen.
TL;DR: THE 2012 KINGS HAVE EARNED THEIR CROWN!
I was at this game. Drove down from Montreal to NJ with my bro and friend, had tickets in the nose bleeds but totally worth it.
