You may remember that iconic clip of Johan Franzen ripping the mouthguard out of Patrick Kane’s mouth and throwing it to the ice. That was ironically in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final back in 2009. So, last night in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Panthers and Rangers, it was only fitting that we got another example of this! During a scrum, Chris Kreider yanked Matthew Tkachuk’s mouthguard from him and then tried to throw it over the glass! This was one of the funniest moments of the 2024 NHL Playoffs undoubtably. Now as for the game, it was the 3rd straight that went to overtime. Once again, the Florida Panthers outplayed the New York Rangers for the majority of the game and yet again, Igor Shesterkin played out of his mind with some fantastic saves! Interestingly, Bobrovsky also now has more points in this series than Chris Kreider… I cover all that and more in todays NHL hockey video!

Its a clear Game Misconduct for Kreider.
So the Refs failed to call a game misconduct for Kreider and clearly blew the 5 minute elbow and game misconduct for flying-elbow Trouba.
Zebras blowing it, is the theme of the 2024 playoffs.
It's obvious that the Panthers are a grinding beast of a team, but man, the Rangers don't let up or go away. Both teams are tough as nails.
Florida has scored 50% of its goals on the power play. If the Rangers would stay out of the box, they'd be up 3-1 at least.
Both Conference Finals are the best I’ve seen in a long time. I’m from Louisiana and don’t know many people into hockey around here but I’m glued to both series. Of course I’m pulling from the Stars but wouldn’t mind seeing the Cats get their 1st ever. Stars vs Cats would be a helluva Cup Finals. Any team left really could win it all.

As a panthers fan, I believe in my team. But it’s a tough, tight series that can go either way. Both goalies are hot, the defense has been solid and the offense is good. It will come down to who will make more mistakes than the other

Florida is clearly the better team. Without Shesterkin, the Panthers have rendered the Rangers and exposed them as a rather pedestrian team.

Shesterkin and Florida are the only ones consistently showing up in this series. The Referees and the rest of the Rangers are missing in action!
