  1. Wanted the shutout for Stu, they got a greasy goal which happens. Hope they can bring the heat on Sunday! Broberg!!!!

  2. That's a different Broberg than we last saw him. If Broberg plays like that, he will make Nurse expendable, and that means a buyout or a trade with 50 percent salary retention. I like Nurse but he's not worth his contract

    * – Denotes filling in for too many men penalty, not a real individual penalty but still counts toward the total.

Skinner was great. The Oilers were disciplined in so far as penalties go. They took 2 penalties one of which was a too many men served by Hyman (per * note above). PK for Oilers at 100%. PP for Oilers 2 for 3. The goals in PP time came FAST (first one 18 seconds into PP time, second one 16 seconds into PP time) and Nuge got both for the Oilers. First goal was a rebound. Second one he went to the net and boom. That wrister has a deceptive and fast release and I wish he'd use it more often. Broberg got his first NHL playoff goal from the point in a mini-bomb through a screen. If you look at the stats there were a LOT of players with zero's across the board yet, especially for +/- it's inaccurate in a way as PP goals don't count toward +/- otherwise there would be several 2's there. I didn't "see" the game, I still have to wear a bandage over my eyes at night and the nurse gets uppity if I listen to the game too late (just because I'm home doesn't mean they don't expect me to keep hospital hours which blows and nurses here are the same (if not more) about timing).

The boys finally cracked the PK of Dallas (and did it twice). Game 6 in Edmonton is going to be LOUD and the Moss Pit will be bouncing. See you all Sunday for that one and take care.
