Janmark tripping on Stankoven, no call

With just over three minutes left in a two goal game, Mattias Janmark tried to go stick on puck on Logan Stankoven. His stick ended up going right through the slot in Stankoven’s skate blade and Stankoven went down. I have a suspicion those two things were related, but the officials didn’t. There was no call.

  1. Looks like both sticks had just made contact with the puck, Referee probably saw it as an accidental trip from a completed play, in which no penalty would be called.

  2. If any game gets a “that was rigged” pass, this was the one. Oilers were getting away with a bunch of

  3. Not sure how the league wants this called, but I'd say it wasn't because Janmark wasn't trying to take possession from another player, rather he was moving toward an open puck. Def if I were a Dallas fan id want to see this called, but I think this falls under what the NHL considers not a factor. If he got a shot on net, or had a breakaway as a result I kind of think the ref would have put his arm up, but it was accidental for sure, and didn't really result in any sort of advantage to the Oilers so they let it go.

  4. About time oiler got some breaks 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

  5. Man, that’s a friggen penalty all day! My Canucks were called continuously against the oilers with far less egregious infractions. That’s a trip. Stick in the skates. Trip trip trip. That being said: go Oilers. Go Canadian team!

  6. He either dove or he's very clumsy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
