Berube’s mentality manifested itself into the 2019 squad and was a key factor in winning the cup that year. They iced the same roster the following year and had no cup hangover. Covid ruined that season. And after that, the roster was quickly dismantled and poorly managed by the GM. With the right roster, Berube can absolutely lead them to a cup. Let hope the GM can give him what he needs. I’m a life long blues fan but have been pulling for the leafs to win theirs for years. As long as they don’t have to beat my blues to get it. Now that they have Berube, I’m hoping they can get one more than ever.

He can't motivate people who dont want to be motivated. Toronto needs a much different lineup for chief. When the blues moved away from hard working and went more to speed and skill he couldnt get the players to buy in. Just my opinion he is one of my all time favorite coaches for bringing the blues a cup. This is the wrong team for him

These Bieber Buddies have been running the show from Carlyle, to Babcock, to Keefe… Berube will shout, pout, stomp, and eventually give up because Leaf's management won't deal WITH THE PROBLEM (the so-called ''core'' of this team which has created a culture of ''Hey we'll try when we need to")
