According to this article, Ducks are one of 8 teams interested in Necas. He can play RW in a top6 role, would be an immediate improvement, is entering his prime and still falls within our SC window.
I think he would be a great addition, only question is the price. I have no idea what the Canes might be asking for. Possibly Colangelo, 2 2nds/the 24 Oilers' pick and a minor prospect/bottom6 asset? Hard to say…

Tbh I’m not sure he’s a fit – he’s horrible defensively and is a turnover machine. I raise that’s the current ducks M.O. but we probably don’t want to keep going to that well.
Id also say that very little of his offence is off the rush, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but that style of offence is a strength of quite a few of our youth. So not sure he’s really a stylistic fit.
That said he’s a decent young player that I’m sure will get a lot of interest. I can’t imagine that we have the pieces to get a trade done though. If I’m the canes I’d be asking for a comparably good young player and I don’t think we have a surplus of those to make a trade work. Outside of a one for one I could see a top prospect and a draft pick, but I’m not sure we have any hyped prospects left outside the NHL – colangelo wouldn’t be enough imo.
All in all… I don’t see this one for the ducks
