Sam Steel flipped over Darnell Nurse and landed completely vertically on his neck before going over. He didn’t look like it tickled by any means, but how he was able to skate away is something.
I never even noticed any of this live. Nurse was inches away of getting booted in the face with skate blades… That would have not been pretty. A lot of horse shoes activated for both players in that play. Thankfully nobody seemed to get seriously hurt.
Nurse has a careless disregard for other players lives, he should concentrate on staying in position rather than trying to splatter players all time !!
I still don't understand defensemen who like to hit players towards their goalie…luckily they were a bit further out so Skinner didn't get hit…but Steel's face must have had blue paint on it 'cause look where it hit (just an expression)

It definitely didn't feel good
Someone almost caught a skate to the face also as he was going down. Everyone's lucky they got out of this okay.
You could say he’s made of steel

holy crap that was bad
Holy crap. Who says he didn't?
I think he flips over his head but falls slightly sideways (towards the camera). If he went straight over, maybe it would have been a broken neck.
He actually did, but it's the playoffs

Broken fingers … broken ankles … broken ribs … broken necks … meh, it's the NHL playoffs!
👍👍
That’s graphic stuff right there
No one else appreciates that play by nurse? Anyone else would of just let Sam skate by Maybe even let him have a rebound
One day there will be a death in our sport becoming more and more violent and all the hypocrites will say ‘oh so sad… we never saw it coming…’
Everyone incredibly lucky no one was hurt

In he had landed with his head down instead of up it definitely would have broken
He’s going to have issues in the long run
Face plant ouch
It was a 5-2 game with a minute left. Was that even necessary
