It’s been 18 long years. Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and the Edmonton Oilers are off to the Stanley Cup Finals after defeating the Dallas Stars in six games. It was probably one of the “ugliest” wins I’ve ever seen, but they don’t ask how, they ask how many, and the score at the end of the day is all that matters. I'm from Germany, been a Fan ever since I studied in Edmonton in 2011, the year Nuge was drafted. Loved his interview on TV! Difficult to watch the games live with the time difference, but even so this season was incredibly fun 🙂

Oilers faithfull Since May 19th 1984 sat at my cousin's house in Kamloops!! LETS GO OILERS !!
My dad brought me up as an Oilers fan. So I've been a fan since '86. I remember the 90's where the oilers were just rolling off the power-house era, and then the crazy lead up to the 2006 run, and the subsequent heartbreak.
We've all been waiting a long time for this. I'm so thankful to be able to watch and experience this run with my Dad still around. It's been a blessing to be able to reconnect with him over this season, as we've had a slightly estranged relationship for most of my adult years.
Here's hoping we bring this home. Let's Go Oilers!!!

I have a question for everyone. Does the Oilers have the 3 best forwards this playoffs in Hyman McDavid and Draisital and the best defenseman in Bouchard? I think this is the year. 2021 was an absolute fluke. This wasn't at all.
Been an oilers fan since grade 4/5 in 06/08, i don't really watch hockey other then in restaurants, but last year i watched the oilers go against Vegas, then started watching almost every game since end of January.
Im so excited we are going to the finals, Skinner has been great the whole team is great. I feel people are too critical over mistakes etc.
A bit worried about going against the Panthers but i just have a strong feeling this is the year the cup comes back home to Canada
Everyone wants the cup to come to Canada….lol….It will be the Oilers, the city of Edmonton's and their fans cup. Overall the majority of Canadians have trashed the city and province. Rant over.
That was an awesome win. Yes I cried. I came from Fiji in 1988 and first time watching ice hockey. I was amazed and to top it up they won the Cup. I live in Vancouver but always Love and Cheer for the team. You are doing amazing job. Thank you. Let's Go Oilers 🥰

Out of all the smaller Oilers channels, yours is the only one that I watch every time. It makes me wish that I could see a panel with you and dolony + the fanatic because you all bring something different to the table but it's tough to watch all the content with so much crossover in the writing.
What does Edmonton win before the Stanley Cup series begins? Most likely just appearing in the finals means Connor & Leon sign long term extensions & finish their career in Edmonton. All any player can ask for from team management is to build a team that can get them into the finals. Now it’s all on the players to win it. It took awhile but Edmonton has finally succeeded at building a Cup capable team around Connor & Leon. For that we should be thankful.

Played a lot of hockey growing up but this is my first year following any team in any sport. Started watching during the winning streak.
What impresses me more than the oilers making it to the final is that you can talk for 30 minutes straight basically every day without stuttering once or cutting the video at any point
I've followed you since the beginning and it's been such a joy to go through this season with you and the community you've built. So thrilled and beyond excited to see the finals after years of disappointment, LET'S DO THIS OIL COUNTRY. GO OILERS GO!!
