Pure greatness. Wow.
Insane goal. This game was literally Connor McDavid and Stuart Skinner vs the Dallas Stars. I hope McD gets his cup finally.
The thing that sets McDavid apart from the rest is his ability to create plays and goals out of seemingly impossible situations. This is not a fluke, this is not a once in a lifetime goal. McDavid has been doing these ridiculous plays since he started playing hockey. He is also in his prime, he can and will get more legendary goals like this. It's been a pleasure watching him play his entire career.
Still donāt know how he got that in. Amazing goal šš
Yeah Connor is that dude that makes any defenseman look like they've never played hockey before.. .
Every time I see McDavid do something amazing, I'm reminded that the Buffalo Sabres tanked two seasons and ruined their culture for a generation to try to get him, only for GM Tim Murray to look like he was watching a dog bang his mother on the front lawn when Edmonton won the lottery.
That was sick
Oof, Heiskanen got clowned.
He is better than everyone else and its noticeable š
Every generation, a few rare players leave the sport a little prettier than they find it. He's doing that right now.
Nobody in the history of Hockey has even come close to this level of skill with the puck. It's simply astounding how good this man is at stick handling, skating, passing, and shooting.
Look at this superhero kids, too bad your children will go broke from your gambling addiction
The look on all the Stars faces š
I'm a recent hockey convert in the Tampa Bay area, and up until last year, as a dedicated Lightning fan, didn't pay much attention to other players on other teams. Then I saw Connor McDavid. I love my Lightning, Kucherov, Stamkos, Vasilevskiy, and others, and I'm still devoted to them, but no one wows me the way McDavid does. This play epitomizes why. Un-freekin-believable!!!
The finish is what was so impressive to me, he knew he was in a tight area and had to get it off quick so he does a little chip backhand top shelf, so filthy š„
The McDavid clan is going to appropriate the Lord Stanley's Cup this year. Hockey is a school of hard knocks. Good luck next year Floridians.
Imagine mike Emrick calling that goal
The look by Hyman when he wants his helmet: "Helmet, slaveā¦ now!"
McDavid wrote his name on the ice with his skates to score this impossible goal! š³
I hope the Oilers loseš
Thatās why they call him the best in the league
Big deal. I've seen Matthews score this goal so many times…In pre-season!!
I never understood what people mean by ādisgusting goalā but thisā¦ like Iād go home. He made them look like toddlersz
McFreak summons the demon from the hockey aether to essentially win the series for Edmonton.
Let Jack Michaels and Louie call the final
imagine thinking you can defend that š± lmfao..
millions of bucks blessed to be in the NhL and spit, so the camera not capturing them…
Shows the importance of having a right hand defenseman where heiskanen was
that goal just gave me goosebumps. and im a bruins fan……..
I have never seen a goal like that, he is the greatest player ever, and I am a huge Gretzky fan.
Im trying to understand the defense here, what should Heiskane have done differently if anything. He looks screwed at the 6 second mark, but had he not been turned should he have played the body.
props to the technician doing the slow-mo replay at 0:50 and 0:52…
