They had announced at the end of the year that Jacques Martin would still be involved next year, but his name was absent from the coaching staff announcement. Does anyone know if he's still an advisor to the coaching staff, as he was in the final days of DJ's tenure? Or is he something more in hockey ops? Or is he just out?

Why would ANYONE be excited about AlFredo returning. Can ANYONE identify what he accomplished in his time as an Assistant? Is he the Specialty Teams guru? I wonder, given his depth of knowledge, has he noticed on what side Ovechkin, Draisitl and Stamkos scored their goals with the man advantage? Is AlFredo a great communicator…I don't think so. Let him glad hand at the so-called "Gala Events" with all the usual suspects. And what has Sexton done besides his bloodline that merits his selection. I appears to me that other forces were at play and the new Coach was allowed a single choice…holy Yeo!
I don’t think all those five coaches are gonna be on the bench together at the same time during games. Alfie, and possibly Sexton as well, might be more like practice coaches. Running drills and working with guys behind the scenes. Then have only Green, Baum, Yeo behind the bench during games. Although Ottawa did have all four of Martin, Alfie, Cappy, and Sexton behind the bench at the same time last year. 🤷🏻♂️
