I don't really get why you think what Gadzic said reflects badly on Oilers Nation to the point where you won't even say the name of the podcast. Gadz went on there live and said what he said unprompted. I listen to the show pretty regularly and I was pretty surprised when I heard it live.
As an Oilers fan I love Gadz but I totally agree he went about addressing the trolls in the worst way he could have. Especially as a SN employee. Hope he learns from it and doesn't lose his spot there.

Oiler fan here, i love Gaz but I do hope he apologizes to the Canuck organization. I get it, there are a LOT and i mean a LOT of nucks trolls. Probably just a knee jerk reaction on his part, but I dont want him to lose his spot on HNIC.
I watched that stream live and even cheered him on, but in retrospect only the trolls shouldve gotten the heat. Also, if the PUBLIC trolling was all about trashing the Oilers, the fans, and the city.. one could only wonder what was being sent to his DM's as a former player (i think we can guess). Still, not the greatest move to include the organization and the entire fanbase.
While it would be nice to include the REAL fans in his incoming apology, the trolls will take ownership of that and exacerbate the whole situation to hell.

Common man your really salty about this? I'm an oilers fan and we and Vancouver have some toxic fans. I know Oilers fans I wanna tell to shut up. He just was fed up with getting all this talk from a fan base who should be looking at how to improve in the Offseason. He spoke well about Vancouver during the 2nd Round.
