Obviously i want Korpi traded but I don't see that able to happen so we're stuck with him so might as well give him a legit shot. Forsy probably gone in that case. I'd rather they go the UFA route as it doesn't cost us any players or picks unless part of a trade includes getting rid of cap space then i'd be open to the trade route. Goalies are so weird and inconsistent season to season so I'm trying not to get excited in any way this off season about goalie moves. Been burned too many years in a row now lol
Staios can’t even get Pinto signed. I have no faith he does any major moves, which in turn will cause Brady to want to leave.

I like brossoit out of the UFA list. Got to see him quite a bit in wpg this season. I don't think we come out on the good side of the trade route
The answer is do nothing. We need to run back this group one more time before upgrading. Just re-sign the RFAs and see what happens. We're the fourth youngest team. No need to rush

Goalies? Forsberg out and the Sens have to hope that they can promote one of their three goalies that they have developed. They're not 18 anymore, time to see if one of them can take the reins.
I would be stoked if we got any of Saros, Markstrom or Ullmark. Aside from those three, Broissoit might be the best remaining tender on these lists.
There are several options.The first,would be a Forsberg for Samsonov trade with Toronto,or a Forsberg and a pick for Markstrom.If you can't move Korpisalo,it could be your only option.If you can move Chychrun,Korpisalo and a pick for Ullmark.That would address the starter and back up position.I
The other need a for a second right shot only,Sean Durzi in Salt Lake City,I could keep going on,but it would require a whole page of info.

I suggested Brossoit to Ross on twitter last week. Brossoit made $1,750,000 AAV last year. AFPAnalytics NHL Contract Projections 2024-2025 has him getting a 2 year $2,138,627 AAV. Pilsey is right about him wanting more games. The reason he is leaving according to the talking heads in the league (and I think some winnipeg sports media person) is that Hellybuck is signed long term and he knows he isn't taking his spot. He wants to try being the starter finally. I think a 2 year $2,400,000 would be a "show me" contract that even if he can't be good enough for the starter spot, you have a decent backup for 2 years. Of course you have to trade Forsberg to do this.
I watched Ryder Ritchie play this year… he is exciting… when you're down by 1 goal in the big game, he takes control… end to end explosive rush… Exciting to watch… this kid wants to win… a Winner… Would be very happy if Sens drafted him!
Sens need to trade for Lukas Dostal in net… 31 save shutout in the World championship Gold medal game… this guy has had some huge games last year for Ducks… he is going to dominate…

No point in throwing away money at goaltenders that can not help us. I think you just got to wait for Soguard. Free agent though would be better than costing the farm once again.
I think you definitely need a proven goalie like Ullmark or Saros if the stars align but they NEED to be extended.Can’t take the chance they come only for a year.
On that UFA list I prefer Stolarz, and there may be significant upside. Tandem with Korpi and see what happens.
