  1. I remember finishing watching game 7 and I said to my buddy I bet their gonna riot like they did in 1994 and then like 45 mins later we look and their rioting like crazy 😂

  2. I was down their with a few co-workers of mine to watch the game at the outdoor viewing at VPL. I went for all the games prior, and you had to go thru a security check point for games 1 thru 6. Game 7, their was no security check point. There where fist fights breaking out in the first period, and I looked at my friends, and said "I think we should leave. I have a feeling that there's going to be a riot win or lose." I turned around, and noticed the Budget car rental place was fenced off, and I looked at my friends and said "You think we can hop that fence and get out of here?" and they all agreed. We walked over, and I hoped the fence first, and then the other 3 hopped the fence, security guard comes up to me, and asks, "Hey! What do you think you guys are doing!" And then I respond with "Escaping the riot before the riot begins." to which he replied "I'm calling the police, you're trespassing" to which I respond with "Go ahead, here's your description, white male, Canucks hat, Canucks Jersey, Big ass Canucks Flag. Go find me!" To which he then realized that we where just trying to leave the area, and he let us out the back gate into the alley. We went to work to watch the game on the TV in the back, and yeah. Watched the riot unfold on live TV. I was ashamed to be a Canucks fan, and to be a proud citizen of the city due to what happened.

  3. Vancouver is a shit city! I love the hockey team but the people that live in that garbage city are literal trash.
& it's such a shame too, such a beautiful land.

  4. I was watching the game in yaletown. I think halfway through 2nd period something felt off. I decided to leave with my girlfriend. Made it home just in time. And then you start seeing all the news and everything that was going on. I was so glad I didn’t have to be stuck downtown in the middle of a riot.

  5. People need to understand most people are vessels of wrath fitted for destruction. Pray Jesus makes them into vessels of mercy fitted for honor

  6. People came downtown just to riot these weren't hockey fans. These were people who wanted to smash things. The game was a trigger but it wasn't the reason the riot happened

  7. I was living in Vancouver at that time I was staying in North Vancouver and I saw the smoke all the way across the bridge and I remember walking around downtown and being completely embarrassed and shocked by what I saw.

  8. The big man who tried to push back a whole crowd with the pole was great.
He reminds me of the legendary berserk "axeman of Stamford Bridge", who single handedly stopped
a whole army of anglo saxons.

  9. 13 years later, I still feel sick to my stomach watching this. The lowest point of my home-town's history. Simply embarrasing. Hope this never happens again…

  10. “We all have the ability to create anarchy.”

Yes…for very crucial reasons. Look at our western governments, for example. The reason for anarchy has been there since the murder of JFK, simpletons.

Destroying your fellow neighbors property over sports?…completely useless sheeple.

  11. I live right above where all this happened, most of those people were kids, from outside of Vancouver. Burnaby, Surrey and surrounding areas. I work at a place where many of the kids that were caught and received community service for their sentence were from those areas. It was just plain gross for how they treated "their own" city that night.

  12. this is almost worst then the george floyd black lives matters mother fackas……. and its over some stupid childrens game haha

  13. Reading the comments in here is too funny… majority of you think that the ones that started this riot are true Canucks fans but really, it's the suburban (Abbotsford/Chilliwack) band wagon jumpers that started it… real Canucks fans were very upset and disappointed at this because of what happened back in 94… you say the fans are toxic, well, all fans of any team are toxic as well and you calling us toxic just proves you're toxic for calling us toxic so guess what? 👍🏽

  14. If this is what they did when they lost what would they have some if they won? I guess we’d never know haha go bruins! But seriously I’m actually asking
