Brady Tkachuk of the Ottawa Senators would be a perfect fit into this New York Rangers team who are currently trying to win a Stanley Cup. Although I don’t necessarily think he’ll be traded he is one of the best fits for the Rangers to potentially put this team over the top.

We can't take on ~9m of cap for another LW. Laf and Shesterkin are the priorities.
I think the chances of us fleecing Ottawa twice is low.

Thanks guys been a Ranger fan since the early 60’s. They used to be notorious for trading away youth for marquee players on the down side of their careers. Thank god they got outta that. Now it’s time to break the other stigma. Size don’t matter as long as he has scoring potential. That has to stop. You hear about team toughness, that doesn’t mean giving Rempe 8 minutes a game to start some sh*t. I like the kid. Develop him into an asset. But they need team toughness. Look at the Panthers. They epitomize that. Again, when the Rangers won the cup, they had role players. That’s the bulk of your team. And gee look what happened!!! They won a cup. I think it’s too good to be true. I think also it’s too good to be true to expect him to be anywhere as good as his brother is and put that kind of pressure on him. Sounds like a classic New York Rangers mistake to me and I’m a fan. I want them to do well but it just sounds like another trade on a reaction to something not because he is the right player
Lastly I like Cullye, but I want guys that not only hit back, but initiate the hitting. Look at Rangers checking in that series. Looked like they didn’t wanna hurt anyone when they delivered a check. Can’t recall the coach but an old timer, you seem like a younger fan, once said skate it a straight line, and arrive at the puck in ill humor. We need more guys that stay on their checks. the senators GM said they arent trading him, and if they do decide to trade him and rangers are gonna have to give up 1st round picks plus a very good prospect like othmann and perrault and other prospects for a guy that NEVER played in the playoffs before, its not worth the risk, the rangers need at least 2 solid forwards that are good in the playoffs. I think they should go after jonathan marchessault for free agency this off season, he is good in the playoffs!!
