  1. Glad to hear that Kaapo understands that his skating has to improve. Last summer he hit the weight room hard; this year he needs to give Laura Stamm a call.

  2. Utah should sign him? Young fresh start young team cheap. I don't think New York is a fit? One two year shows what you got

  3. As much as I'm on the trade Kaapo train… you gotta admire the honesty and self-awareness here. He got the chance. He didn't run with it. I wish him all the best. I'm sure as soon as we trade him, he breaks out. But we just can't continue to run the risk. The window is now, not later

  4. As a Rangers fan, We lost to a Florida team that was clearly better,
The rangers had 0 regulation wins against Florida in 9 Tries,
    Regular Season, and postseason combined

  5. Kaapo Kakko is honestly the toughest call for me. He is young and has a ton of potential, however he just never produced and I wonder if moving on from him would help the Rangers and him.

  6. He had every opportunity this year to be a difference maker. He is still very young with a huge upside.

  7. Work a deal and bring in Brady Tkachuk.

I still do like Kakko. He has the tools. He def has a monster of a shot. But if he wants more money, I’ll pass

  8. This guy had chance to be first line right winger and yet he can’t grasp it. Worst #2 pick in nhl history. Sorry I love the kid but he’s not the real deal.

  9. Laffy was considered a bust too but we held on to him and look? This kid just needs a little more time to be coached up and trained under someone like Laviolette and he’ll be good enough for us.

  10. The kid just doesn't have the tools to be a top 6 forward. Not the skating or puck skills or awareness. He has a decent shot that's about it.

  11. Hes hard to dislike & i believe he would flourish elsewhere. I just hope for his sake the decision made is best for him
