  1. It’s generally hard to rank the 3 Cups won by the Bolts – but this is my favorite. Can’t convince me that they wouldn’t have gone back-back if the 04-05 wasn’t cancelled.

I remember my dad had me mow the lawn that evening, I would mow a section come back for few minutes to watch, next section…missed both goals but got to watch the 3rd period. What a game, what a series. My favorite cup win. Back to back wa unbelievable too and the 2022 run was insane too. Wish we coulda pushed COL to 7 games. Got screwed on few bad calls.

Lecavalier was the man on that second goal.

Fedotenko was left with a clear shot, too, because of an ill timed cheap shot on Vinny. The Flames tried their damndest all series to intimidate and hurt us, and the second goal clearly illustrates that (failed) strategy.

That move from Vinny on the second goal is nasty, he literally draws all 5 flames to just cover him and beats everyone

It’s been 20 years since highschool 😭👵🏼 lol. My friend’s parents were out of town so we watched the game on the big screen at their house….then we put like 3 bottles of Dawn in the jacuzzi and broke it lmao. So many bubbles lol. Such an epic night though!

I met Fedotenko in the airport many years ago. Such a nice guy! One of those great players that really supported the stars on the top lines!
