OK Guys, with the Edmonton Oilers set to square off against the Florida Panthers in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final. One fan base that will be very conflicted watching this series will be the Calgary Flames. Obviously, flames fans will be very annoyed with the thoughts of Edmonton winning a Stanley Cup.. However do they really want to see their former players Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett win? I think so..

You left out the part where the oilers are a Lottery team . They were built on losing ,so why would i waste my time cheering for them to win ? Also most Calgarians understand hockey players want to live in US ,as many other professionals have moved there as well. Liberalism is a disease.

I talked to alot of flames fans living in calgary and they are all panthers. Less hardcore flames fans cheer for the oilers

Born & raised in Edmonton and I still feel for the flames, their entire team was gutted. Not to mention trying to turn Bennet into something he wasn't. Not only did they have bad GM's but their coaches were trying to save their asses and drove many players into the ground.

I don't have a grudge against Tkachuk. He was straight with the team about and they got something for him, unlike Johnny Hockey, who is swirling down the toilet in Columbus (lololol), and f*ck the Oilers always.

im a habs fan living on vancouver island. i want any canadian team to win. any. even the leafs. even the senators. even if bettman dusts off the nordiques – i want them to win. at the end of the day it'll be hilarious if they lose, but i still have hope they'll win

The Flames and Lanny McDonald broke my heart in 1989. I didn’t exactly grow up liking this team very much.
Never thought I would go for the oil but I hope they win it all. Florida fleeced Calgary in that trade I hate Florida more than Edmonton now go oilers
