  1. Hope canucks put edmonton out of their misery saturday night no point in extending oilers playoffs.. they have no chance at the cup with one line and the worst goaltending of the remaining teams by far.

  2. He is a flash in the pan. Oilers will overpay him and he'll stink and go off to play for the Wild in 2 years

  3. As an Oiler fan, if it wasn’t for Picks it could’ve been a real ugly blowout..nucks earned it.
So crazy it was still tied, feeling like OT for like a period and a half..is the only positive for the Oil..0-5 on the pp..Canucks 0-4 very weird!

  4. Right now, I feel he is more of a liability than an asset. If the Oilers can trade him and get a good defensive defenseman, I would do that trade in a heartbeat. What good is he if he can cost you a game on any given night. Give me consistency, not flashes.

  5. As an Oilers fan Bouchard is my most hated player on the team constant turnovers every night! First power play of the night he gave away the puck two times and gave Vancouver two scoring opportunities.

  6. LOL watch the replay on Vancouver's winning goal. McDavid completely failed to cover Miller going to the net, leaving him all alone in front to put home the easy rebound off the post.
Yes Bouchard's giveaway was bad but he didn't lose that game.

  7. For the first time in the series, the Oilers were outplayed, and not by little. In the 3rd period, Oilers had 0 real scoring chances. It was only the Nucks pushing.
And all 3 goals against are avoidable. Pickard has to make the save on Soucy. The 2nd is on Bouchard, but there was plenty of sloppy defense before.
The Miller goal, it`s a faceoff with less than one minute in the Vancouver zone, lost by Drai and then the Oilers kinda had it but gave it away.

That win was well earned by the Nucks, they outworked the Oilers. Still, Vancouvers goals are easy to avoid. Last years Vegas team would have won that game 2:1.

  8. Pick was one of only a few oilers who actually showed up. Oil D was awful should have been a blowout goaltending was all that stopped that.

  9. Let’s be real Oilers are just toying with the Canucks. Making them think they have a chance and now they will win the rest of the games easy.

  10. If Bouchard stays around a ppg next year, he can easily get 9 million or more. With Draisaitl more than likely getting 13-14 million on his next deal and McDavid 15 million or more on his. There is a lot of money getting tied up in those 3 over the next couple years

  11. Oilers could of taken this series but oilers are on that giving mode, I thought December as fast long ago but they’re still in that December blues

  12. Why don’t you talk about Nurse’s poor play on the last goal? He was at stick’s length from the Vancouver player, and for some strange reason, he drifts away from that player giving him more time and space to shoot at the net.

  13. Ain’t no one saying no Bouchard slander. He serves up pizzas more often than not, and no one says anything about it. Not, the players, coaches , gm. No One. He’s not the only one though, all the top guys do it as well and so do our bottom 6. I think management are too afraid to call out our top players and that is why this team will not win a cup (unless they just out score their problems, highly unlikely). It’s sad because they have the personel to make deep runs every year if they play the right way but for some reason any coach who has been brought in never addresses this. Also their physicality in the playoffs is pathetic.

  14. At what point does that give away become a steal for Aman? Bro's getting no props for clearly forcing that error 😮‍💨

  15. Oilers are getting worn out. They haven''t had an answer for the canucks system, when the canucks play it properly, all season long. The game two loss boiled down to ONE passive period where the canucks forgot how to play their system. The game 4 loss was the worst game they played in a long time and when they actually decided to play their system properly again they tied the game. This is literally an example of the canucks losing when they lose focus and not the Oilers beating them because they play better hockey. The reverse is not true and the 7 and 2 record this season is the proof.

It's simple….if the canuck maintain focus, and structure they will win this series no matter what the Oilers do. Again, the results all season long prove this. The Oilers simply struggle with the canuck's system. If the canucks don't focus, then they will lose. They're in complete control of this series if they want to be.

  16. Big haymaker hits from the Vancouver Canucks will win the Stanley Cup.
I hope the Canucks learnt from the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals. Boston Bruins destroyed the Canucks in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals because they kept hitting the Canucks.

  17. none of us in edmonton are saying "no bouchard slander"… if anything, we generally hold him more accountable than he deserves…

  18. I've been a Bouchard critic for a long time. But this year his defensive game has improved. Within the playoffs, horrendous gaffe aside, his defensive game at times has been borderline #1 Dman tier. He needs to be more consistent for sure, but if next year his defensive stats take another step, I think he'll develop to be a bonafide #1 D who gets a $9.5M contract

  19. Bouchard has given us a win, and taking one away…. but honestly the oilers did not deserve that game at any point. These guys have it in them to win, but will they wake up?

  20. Oiler fans are well aware of his defensive liabilities. He more than offsets with his offensive upside. He's like Karlson, or OEL. Both guys took criticisms like that all their careers.

  21. It’s amazing to see the salaries that these guys are making and yet make fundamental mistakes we learned not to make as peewee hockey players. For example, never come out in front of your own net with the puck like Bouchard did. He should have known better. But all through the playoffs we are seeing so many fundamental rules being broken.

  22. Who would have guessed at the beginning of this series that Cole would lead McDavid in goals against the Canucks?

  23. Can't keep Nurse around AND retain Bouchard .. honestly there's not a lot to keep on the backend except Bouchard, Eckholm and perhaps Desharnais .. Oil D is brutally soft, difficult to watch.

  24. canucks fan at that game – well played by both teams but i will say the reffing was AWFUL – that call on Petty was so unreal i’m still in awe – canucks grinded and deserved that win tho

  25. i’m surprised you didn’t point out garland’s performance, almost every single shift that dude was a one man army battling for the puck

  26. Bouchard is good at scoring and getting points on the powerplay but as a defensemen that doesn't relate well in other teams, his defensive liabilty would hurt more than his offensive skills… with a diff team, he would be lucky to get 10 goals and 40 assists instead of 82 points because he wouldn't have a Draisaitl and McDavid with him on the powerplay
