I honestly feel like Mahomes is wanting Hardman back this year for some reason. Go Chiefs!!!
I’ve never understood the hate for Hardman. It has to be because he was selected in the 2nd round and initially he was a panic selection due to Tyreek possibly be suspended for the 2019-20 season at the time. He has not been a 2nd round talent but he’s been very valuable to KC for years being the 3rd option behind Kelce & Hill. His first 3 years he averaged 597 yards per season being the 3rd option and in 2022-23 he dealt with injuries. He’s always been a valuable occasional deep threat and very valuable gadget player
Mecole is hella better than Skyy and Tony… Mecole gets up the field (fast).
I feel like Mecole is gonna take KTs job. Skyy has a better attitude and is at least working with the team, trying to get better. Haven't seen that with KT yet. Feels like KT doesn't have his heart in it for some weird reason.
If our choices are Toney, Sky, or Hardman I don't need time to think about it. If Hardman is your 4th or 5th WR you're pretty solid. He's able to run Andy's jet motion stuff, he can actually catch a deep ball, and while he doesn't seem to get open any more than MVS he can actually contribute as a returner as well.
He wasn't what we were looking for as a no 2 or 3 WR but as a b/u to Worthy or special teams fill in if there's an injury he's solid.

45:52 I would be more inclined to give Connor Embree more grace for how his first season at WR coach turned out, but the fact that basically NOBODY in that WR room outside of Rashee Rice actually developed in any productive way last year. Skyy Moore regressed. MVS regressed. KT was a disaster after seeming so promising. Justin Watson is who he is, he’ll make one great catch for you and then help move the chains once or twice per game. If the WRs show the same issue of not developing productively, I think you’d HAVE to say it’s Embree’s fault.
Mecole at his ceiling right now is still better than Moore and Toney floor. Yes those two ceiling could be higher but it's like waving candy in my face and I can't grab it. Plus I like Mecole
