I wouldnt just say they are a problem together, they are a problem no matter who they play with. They have both been absolutely horrible these playoffs. What makes it even worse for Nurse is he is the second highest paid player on the team. He makes more than Draisaitl does…..Let that sink in…..Not to mention he makes 3 million more than Ekholm. Ceci has been horrible, but Nurse has been just as horrible but gets paid like he is a top defender in the league.
Together or apart they are simply terrible. Lousy at clearing pucks. Better spectators than players. Bench them both.
100% wasnt Skinner fault.. Oilers played unreal strong Playoff hockey in period 1.. and then fell right off the map the rest of the game. If they only wanna play high quality playoff hockey for 1 period then try to cost… then they mind aswell pack it in now.. cause anything short of a full 60 game of top tier hockey will due.

That second goal Dallas scored was really bad for the oilers! It may have been the worst goal against in the playoffs since Steve Smith goal on Grant! Falling down, panicking, then some how all five of them standing together in front of the net holding hands while every Dallas player was left wide open! WTF!! Call a time out! Should of just hit the showers right there and then.
I would've traded Nurse for a bag of hockey pucks, and Ceci for a used weight bench (in half decent condition) looooooong ago. I've been singing that same song since before last year's playoffs.
