[Music] as well ctis um uh why when you won that fight against Cherry Le L did you turn straight in terms of your sights to Barry Hall uh the week earlier uh I want to introduce myself to Barry uh at the hoop Center I think one of his mates was fighting and um he seemed pretty Keen to get back in the ring and it just wi B up to my head and I thought if I get the win against Joey um I think it would be a great match up call him out get the big fell off the lounge and um give him bit of a purpose to get back in the ring I see you’re trying to do him a favor I guess so um’s see a beit long in the tooth now um he’s had a couple losses and I think he wants to finish with a win and I that’s why he’s jumped at this fight expec him to beat me but it’s going to be a different story when we’re in there I might just get a reaction from Barry Hall straight away Barry um what did you think when you heard that he called you out what do you what do you think of that call out I I I thought he was calling out to you give B of clout name wise and I think he sees vulnerability in me after my last fight which is which is great um so I that’s what I thought initially um a couple of guys have called me out and uh I think they see vulnerability so um I fight for challenges I don’t fight people who I think are vulnerable so I’m uh I come from a different direction so but that’s my opinion um he he may have called me out for the RO reasons he might think I am a challenge but I don’t think so so you think it’s a bit of a cop out I think he sees vulnerability so yeah I I don’t take those fights I’ve always taken underfeed Fighters I’ve always been the underdog I’ve always been a main event so I’ve always put myself in situations where it’s a challenge so um yeah two different directions what’s your response to that Curtis vulnerable he a 6’5 unit um I don’t see any vulnerabilities look at him um he’s a big boy um he’s fought Paul gallon and sunny Bill two of the best um crossover Fighters um in my opinion so um I’m expecting a very tough fight um training and uh getting ready for a tough fight um I know what he brings he’s a big aggressive man and and he can box um you know he’s had a decorated amateur career and obviously went into the AFL so I’m definitely not coming into this um expecting an easy fight um I’m training for the for Paul Gallen um Barry Barry Hall form I’m expecting that and I hope he brings it cuz um I don’t want any excuses off being him um Barry do you know much about cot Scott was he someone on your radar at any point uh previously or or or what about when the name was thrown towards you what did you think no so I um was first aware of guys when he come to introduced himself and um look I’m not disrespecting any I I don’t watch TV or sport anymore May NFL for that better um I knew he was some um R League player or something cuz you know um he was fighting Joey so and he come introduc seemed like a nice fell wished him luck and then um I was out for dinner with my family and my phone started blowing up so I was been called out so um yeah and I was like okay well yeah the stars are line really i’ I’ve been training a little bit and thinking about my last fight constantly that you know that that wasn’t me that’s uh that’s not who bar Hall is and I wanted to B A Redemption so the Stars Al line really with C is calling me out and um and another challenge I’ve seen some of his fights he’s very aggressive he’s going to be in my face he’s fit um and that’s what I’m preparing for it’s it’s another challenge um you know we can go back and forward about Underdog um I’m 20 years older than him and uh he’s he’s a young bull um but as a young bull I think I can stop what have people been saying to you Barry about Curtis or about this fight since it started to leak out um as I said I don’t know Curtis well I’m not sure of the history and I don’t really buy to that stuff but doesn’t seem to be very well liked everyone who um I’ve spoken about or spoken to he said I they don’t seem to like him too much so um but that’s that’s their opinions um don’t shoot the messenger I’m just telling you what people think but response Curtis he’s throwing the line just another one things that but um they obviously don’t know me personally so everyone can have their opinion um it might hurt a little bit more when you get beaten by the villain you consider yourself the villain in this fight is Barry Hall that good guy I guess I he’s um he’s listening to the GRE guess on the villain what does a victory here mean to you though and and how invested are you in your boxing career Curtis yeah look um again a little bit of a Vibe a bit of a gambling Vibe of um all in with um Samy Gman so might just jump on the back of that as well cuz I’m all in with this um I don’t have too many other options um not very good on the tools and um so um boxing’s pretty much my my only way out and um you I put my life and all into it now and I train extremely hard and I love the sport and you I’m really excited to be here uh any final words Curtis or Barry before we move on I think it’s going to be an exciting fight um as I said I know where he’s going to be he’s going to be in front of me it’s going to be a good pace and um yeah I’m just glad he called me out and uh yeah give me the opportunity to be here um this is something I’ve needed and uh we can promise him with fight this for sure I’m than
