Luke is pretty new to the broadcast industry. After trashing the Canucks organization in a podcast, I think the broadcasters wanted to be a bit more cautious for the Stanley cup finals and sideline him for now.
The conduct wasn’t professionally acceptable, but I don’t think it necessarily warrants immediate or imminent contract termination.

What Luke did was inappropriate and unprofessional. But having said that apparently some Canucks fans did send him some not very nice messages. So I hope he can learn from it and move on. He’s a young broadcaster too.
