This Day in Kings’ History (2014): Kings shutout the Rangers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final



On June 9, 2014, Jonathan Quick made 32 saves and earned his ninth career playoff shutout in a 3-0 win over the New York Rangers. Quick tied Mike Richter for most playoff shutouts by a U.S. goalie, and the Kings gained a 3-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Final.
