  1. That barn in Toronto in always full regardless of performance. He aint going nowhere. Period.

  2. This channel has gotten so anti-Marner it’s crossed into insanity. The comments too but that’s to be expected, it’s YouTube after all. Tom Wilson is a 30 year old power forward who has spent his career playing the type of hyper physical game that ages a player like that and will make him unplayable in his early 30s, so within the next 2-3 years. Mitch for all his playoff futility will still be a high scoring, defensively responsible winger for at least twice that length of time.

Marner for Wilson gets the Leafs a power forward who’s past his best before date and loses us our most valuable trade chip in the process. It’s the Kadri trade all over again only this time Wilson will be a violent maniac so all the uncles and everyone who still inexplicably thinks this team is soft will be happy.

I understand the want to trade Mitch but for Christ’s sake take two seconds and think. The ramifications of this trade are massive. You can’t trade him for a rapidly depreciating asset and expect to come out ahead. I don’t care what futures Washington throws in. If it’s not a blue chipper all you’re doing is removing one cap strangling contract that expires in one year for one that doesn’t expire for 7 years.

  3. Whatever Marner or someone else will join the Caps the staff will ask one question – Are you ready to make a history and help Ovi break that record? 🖖

  4. Sounds like a terrible Clickbait…which is also a terrible idea. Aren't you guys and Steve, supposed to be leaf fans. Sheeit-swaps like this, work in the opposite direction for the laughs. I wish YouTube would stop recommending these dumb content channels.

  5. If it's possible and JT waves his no movement clause. I'll be celebrating. Keeping Marner at the same salary wouldn't be the worst. That extra 11 mil could make a world of difference on the back end. I imagine a Bryan McCabe like shot on the back end will make a world of difference on its own.

I don't mind Marner being that guy who could shut down people like McDavid and Pasta. I personally think having a player that can be essential as well. No its not flashy but he'll be effective.

  6. Screw the Capitles they just bought capfriendly. As of July 1st, no more capfriendly.

  7. Tom Wilson is a negative asset. 30 years old 7 more years at 6.5 million. Point production declining. Physical game probably won’t age well.

  8. FFS…this is why Toronto fans are insane: you all think everyone's going to bend over to give you what you want and get little to nothing in return, even though Toronto has no leverage here because of the situation they put themselves in. Does anyone legitimately think Washington would give up all of that capital AND retain salary for a one-year rental? I hate to burst your bubble, but Jake Guentzel's a UFA with marginally lesser stats and a proven playoff performer who not only doesn't cost you all of that in trade assets and retained salary, but would also be cheaper long-term than Marner.

  9. Washington signed Wilson to that contract because both Washington and Wilson wanted Wilson to play his entire career as a Cap. He isn't available even 1 for 1. He's their Captain as soon as Ovechkin retires. Marner is elite and Washington could afford an extension for him, but not at the cost of all of the rebuild they've already done. No franchise is going to set themselves back like that. Fehrevary is one of the best young shutdown Dmen in the league. Washington has no reason to trade him. I do think McMichael could be available for an offensive upgrade if it was a C coming back like Zegras. Washington has some assets they can move to make a trade for a premiere offensive player and they can afford a big contract, but they're not going to blow up the youth they've built to get it.

  10. And the fact Jessie said “cmon Steve. Make it realistic” moments after that he said they’re retain 50% lmfao

  11. 🤣😂🤣😂 What a ridiculous idea for a trade. Trade a +110 player for a + 12 player who spends 1400 mins in the penalty box? A brilliant idea.

  12. You guys literally know noth9ng about hockey. The trade ideas you come up with are not even close. Yes, trade Marner. No, to any trade idea you three come up with. Its like… You have never played hockey in your lives.. Oh wait..

  13. Wilson a draft pick for Marner would be nice but never happen.
McDavid to Toronto for who yes

  14. Olier lose the odds do not get worse to be a leaf, Oilers win odds get do get worse because they won and now want the opportunity to repeat with Drisatile

  15. Even tho that will never happen. That was an awful trade for Washington.. why on earth would they retain 50% then give up their best prospect and then some. Leafs fans are gonna be real shocked when they see the return for marner lol playoff teams dont want a guy thats a push over. Gonna be alot more complaining in Toronto soon. Exciting.

  16. It's truly incredible how Leaf fans think Marner both sucks yet also should command the world in return on any trade. 😂

  17. What the?!

How about this, let the leafs and Mitch Marner do their own business, and as fans let’s just cheer on the team? Also, I would be very happy to have Mitch Marner back 🙂 100 points per season and easy on that!😊

  18. Mitch just needs to learn to thrive with playoff officiating by moving him to a well Coached Playoff Team – that hasn’t gone 20 years without a playoff run. 😀

  19. Drai may leave because they cant oay him like a number 1 and keep the team they have. Hes 12 13 mil on almost any other team

  20. Dumbest discussion ever. Marner is too expensive. Wilson is the next captain of the Caps. Wilson is an All Star and his contract is better than Marner's.

  21. i saw the notification for the vid and saw “Marner to the Washington Capitals…” and got scared.

  22. Going rate for a pending Top UFA:

    1 roster player
    1 prospect
    1-2 draft picks

UFA with NMC: you probably get less.

    Lower quality gets slightly less.
Look when Florida acquired both Chiarot and Giroux. Giroux had a NMC and controlled his trade. Habs got more for Chiarot than philly for giroux

  23. This is literally the dumbest conversation that I have ever been subjected to. You think Washington is taking Marner who is getting 11 million and will cost 13 for the Caps to re-sign him, plus they are going to retain 50% of Wilson? LMAO You MORONS. That would mean Washington is essentially giving Marner, a playoff ghost, 16 million per year. That's what you're telling me? I can't listen to this stupidity any longer. I got 2:15 in…that's all I can bear.
