[Cam Robinson] Spoke to nearly a dozen teams about the Russian winger. Everyone acknowledges he has some of the highest potential in the class. But no single team indicated they would feel secure in taking him with a top 2, 3 or even top-5 pick. He’s a slider candidate for sure.

For what it’s worth, I’ve had him going to Montreal at 5 for a while but only because I have Lindstrom off the board by then.

More cold water on my boy. Honestly, makes me feel better about drafting Levshunov if that is the pick.

You guys should have gotten in on the Levshunov -110 train. It feels like free $ now haha!

I feel like he won’t fall past Utah if he makes it there. They drafted two Russians last year and are looking for the new face of their franchise in a new city. Seems like a really good fit to me

I made a wager that if he is drafted at 5 or lower, in 5 years he will be 1 in the inevitable ‘redraft’ videos.

Wasn’t Demidov the consensus #2 like a week ago?

  7. Really feels like it’s Levshunov then. I know some might be a little disappointed but I think he will be a very good NHL player. And he does have a lot of skill. So with proper development he can *potentially* be a star defenseman.
